User Manual

Table of Contents
This document outlines
how to operate the Risk Frontiers website. The following images and text describe
the process.
In order to use the site
a user needs an account. There are two types, pre-pay and single. Pre-pay accounts
allow the member to purchase report credits upfront and then generate reports using
those credits. They can, at any time, request purchase of more credits. These payments
are done offline. The other type of account, single, allows the user to purchase
reports one at a time in real time on the site using their credit card. The following
screens show the sign up forms, which are accessible from the links at the bottom
of the login page shown in section 1.2

Fig II Single Sign up

Fig III shows the login
form for the site. There are two fields, email address and password. These fields
are checked against the database to see if the person attempting to login is using
valid credentials. If a user attempts to load a link without a valid session then
they are redirected to this page.
Fig III Login

Once logged in the application
moves the user to the search form. From here the user can enter information about
the property that they are trying to find. There is one difference here depending
upon the type of account the user has. Pre-pay account holders will see a field
that allows them to search on the Deposited Plan or Lot Number, single users don’t.

Fig V Single Search

Once a valid set of search
criteria is entered, and the amount of matches is less
than the predetermined amount (default is 100) then the search result page will
be displayed. Fig VI shows an example of this.

Fig VII Summary

Once the user is happy
that the property they’ve found is correct they can choose to purchase the report.
For pre-pay users with credits the report will automatically be purchased and a
credit taken from their bank. Single account holders will be taken off to the eWAY Shared Payment page.

Fig X PDF Processing

Once the purchasing process
is complete the report is generated. The user will be presented with a screen similar
to that shown in Fig XI. At this time the user is also sent an email containing
a link to the generated PDF.
Fig XI Report Generated

The user can also maintain
their account information. Fig XII shows the screen that allows them to do this.
It can be reached from the “Edit Account Details” link the right hand navigation.

When a user purchases
a report the details of the property the report was about are stored in the query
history table. The user can then return (within seven days) and search past reports.
Fig XIII shows the search form used to query the history. This form can be reached
from the “Previous Reports” link in the right hand navigation.
Fig XIII Query History
Search

Once valid search criteria
are entered the search will display a list of recently generated reports that match.
Fig XIV shows how this might look.
